Temporary Water Storage
Colt® supplies pressurized and atmospheric tanks, along with complete pumping systems to keep pressurized potable water flowing through water distribution systems. Our high-capacity temporary water storage connects directly to existing lines, supporting maintenance or emergencies without interrupting supply.
LINE INTERVENTION & ISOLATION
Maintain system pressure and avoid contamination. Colt specializes in isolating specific sections of a pipeline for repair or modification without shutting down the entire network.
- Single and Double Line Stopping: Temporary isolation for pipe sizes from residential to large-scale municipal mains of 78 inches.
- Line Stop with Bypass: Line stop execution along with bypassing fluids through our housing allowing for uninterrupted service. Fluids can be returned into another line stop housing, a manhole, wet-well or another entry into the system.
- Pipe Freezing: Non-invasive isolation for indoor applications.
HOT TAPPING / WET TAPPING
Expand your network seamlessly. Our hot tapping and wet tapping services allow for new branch connections to be made to live water mains without any loss of product, loss of pressure, or service interruption.
- Allows for the creation of new service lines, fire suppression lines, water and sewer force mains and other infrastructure expansion.
- Compatible with all materials: Ductile Iron, PVC, HDPE, Steel, AC, Cast Iron, and PCCP (Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe).

VALVE INSERTION

PCCP TRANSITION & REPAIR
Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe (PCCP) is a high-strength composite pipe commonly used in water and wastewater systems. It combines the strength of steel with the corrosion resistance and durability of concrete, making it ideal for large-diameter and high-pressure applications. PCCP features a steel cylinder embedded in concrete, reinforced with prestressed steel wire, providing excellent structural integrity and longevity.
